This page was originally the inside cover to the ashcan. This was also an experiment in colorizing. The only reason Mel didn't do more of this is because it takes far too long and she just does't have the time. What little colorizing I did is all you get until page 46 or whenever we get to colorizing the older pages (if ever).

[Transcript] - Several hours later Norm and Dorma are perched overhead on the branch Rudy was sitting on. Rudy is still laying on the ground. Norm flies down and stands on top of Rudy, looking for any signs of life... "He still breaths. Well, shucks. He's going to get back up."
Just then Rudy raises his head and gives a raised eyebrow to Norm, whereupon Norm points off into the woods with his right wing and says, "Um... he when that way."
