| [2006 April 28] Do they actually make extra-large bandaids? Speaking of larger-than-life are the charges a person accrues from a hospital stay. Everything is charged. EVERYTHING. Those little bars of soap, emptying the garbage can, a cup of water --charged. And the charges are huge. I was in a hospital for three days, found out all I had were bruised intestines and just needed to relax and get some sleep, and after that bullshit I was charged $10000. No shit. I would have made out hella good with a $20 bag of weed, the most expensive suit at Holiday Inn, and being busted for drug possession and screwing an underage prostitute. I swear that would have turned out better than a $10000 bill for useless tests, food that never tastes good, and hard drugs I didn't need to begin with. | |
