I need a little more color, but not too much. It would look great if I could make a regular page layout to resemble two or three color offset duplicator pages.

I hope it's not too obvious that I grew up reading CARToons. If I really wanted to save time I suppose I'd learn to use the full 3D capabilities, draw one car model and change viewports to suit the image angle. I'd still have to retrace for 2D, shading and the "embellishments", so I'll just keep with sketches for now.

And your vehicles are getting better. Considering how much work you've been putting into your technical linework I'm interested in seeing what you'll do with the Salt Mine once we're ready to tackle that project.

The fill-in-the-blanks methodology is also what gets dorks to actually buy those comics. The heroes are doing what they wish they could do, saying what they'd like to say, etc. etc... It's very convenient for the more creative artists, as it's one less thing they have to waste time on --it's all laid out for them and bang, it's a paycheck.

[Transcript] - 'Nice Guy' A bad omen if I ever heard one... at least she didn't say she thought I was attractive. Then I would have known she was lying...

What the hell could she possibly want from me? How am I gonna avoid taking it personally when she dumps me after the first or second date? Why the hell is she even asking me?

I've spent 34 years without interruption --unnoticed and invisible to them. I've gotten used to loneliness. It's my nicotine. I live and breath it. I'd be depleted without it.

Why this? Why now?

Should I even bother being tactful? Maybe I should just let it go. Don't call back... then she might think I'm rejecting her because of... worse yet. What if this actually works out?

Impossible. Illogical. She may be insecure for the moment, but she's attractive enough to find someone she'd be more interested in. I could also see this as an opportunity of sorts...

Something to generate some decent content...

The Writer's Miranda: "Anything you say, observe, and experience can and will be used as material."

The female protagonist...

It's what I've been told. Women heroes get more demand in publishing and sell more modern comics than thier obsolescent male counterparts. But I've never found a repertoire to develop a destinctive heroine. I've tried to do what every other comic dork does, which amounts to filling in the blanks due to a lack of intimate knowledge...

ALPHA CHICK --a sexual fantasy of the creator with a masculine personality that the creator wishes he had.
